Opportunity Knocks for Highlands County Bands. 
The Heartland Cultural Alliance will have an open mike for Highlands County bands (two or more musicians,one or more instruments) at the Kenilworth Lodge, Saturday, November 12, from 8 to 10 pm .  This will be an ongoing, first Saturday of the month, qualifying event for the upcoming “Heartland's Best Band Star Search”.  This opportunity for exposure and possible rumination/prizes is open to all forms of music.  The qualifying judging will be by people’s choice.  The HCA wants to give local musical talent venue and chance to be discovered.  To get in the lineup for this high profile event and/or for more information contact:  Fred Leavitt (863) 402-8238, email info@heartlandculturalalliance.org

The HCA Art & Music gallery at the Kenilworth Lodge. will have an artist's reception & music. There will also be a book signing. The reception is from 6 to 8 pm, in the Kenilworth Lodge.  Wine and snacks provided.  Classical guitar by Kenny Summers. Open to the public. Free.

Every second Saturday of the month from 4 to 8 pm.The Heartland Cultural Alliance has been authorized  by the CRA to invite Highlands County artists to exhibit and sell their art on the circle for this event.  There is no fee or commissions. No vendor license is needed. This is an opportunity to enjoy the day, exhibit, sell, paint and generally create the atmosphere Highlands County being a place for people to come and enjoy the arts.  Spread the word.
