By re-granting funds from state license plate, raising funds to support and grow the A&C community, to offer educational opportunities for our members showcase and promote the art and culture of Highlands County
Heartland Cultural Alliance, Inc. (HCA) is designated by the State of Florida as the Local Arts Agency (LAA) incorporated in 2001 advocating for all arts and cultural activities in Highlands County. HCA is dedicated to the enrichment of citizens through the arts, cultures, cultural and heritage tourism, humanities, historic preservation, education and area museums.
With CARES funding, Heartland Cultural Alliance, Inc. will continue to produce and deliver public humanities programming in order to meet the needs of the community, directly advancing its mission to serve as the community arts and cultural affairs council for Highlands County and the umbrella organization for all arts and cultural activities. Specifically, this grant will fund general operating expenses directly affected by the coronavirus crisis. The primary audience benefiting from this funding is all who live in Highlands County.
