Judy Nicewicz has been painting and teaching art for over 23 years in the Highlands County Area.

She was the President of the Caladium Arts and Crafts Cooperative from 2013-2016, and a member of the Highlands Art League, the Heartland Cultural Alliance, Teachers of Educational Art Material (TEAM) and the Society of Decorative Painters.

She offers classes for adults at her home studio in Avon Park, Florida and travels to teach for home parties and other groups such as Nu-Hope in Lake Placid and Avon Park. As a travel teacher, Nicewicz has taught for the Society of Decorative Painters, TEAM, Michaels stores, and  A.C. Moore. She holds accreditations for Sculpty Clay, and HD Painting and is also an accredited Priscilla Hauser teacher, and Donna Dewberry One Stroke Instructor.

Judy believes sharing classes with children inspires them to become the next generation of artist and that helping others explore their talents is an important part of giving back to the community.
